I’ve always been so fascinated by the different passions people have because everyone has something that makes their heart beat a little faster in life. What excites you holds a powerful energy unique to you! It’s a contagious spirit that I hope to further spread at Vinyl Wellness by way of looking great and feeling great.
At 16 years old, I was working my first job as a salon receptionist in North Carolina. From check-in to check-out, I quickly realized this was more than just a place to get your hair done; it was a mecca for transformation! Beyond the obvious change in appearance, the most noticeable difference for me was the before and after conversations with the clients. Our small talk evolved into big talk as they were now sharing the plans and aspirations they had following this appointment; as if them looking great made their world ahead look a little brighter.
A few years later my career took me to California where I was the LA/OC City Manager for more than 3,000 fitness, wellness and beauty businesses at MINDBODY. I worked directly with business owners and experienced firsthand the heartbeat they had fueling their businesses. They took a chance on following their excitement enough to start a business and make their passion their livelihood and it was clear how much that energy impacted their customers. Not only were they receiving services that made them feel great, but the exchange itself had an underlying tone of authenticity, courage, and heart. This instilled trust and kept their customers loyal which allowed space for deeper connection and receptivity to inspiration.
